Water Regatta is a very active, physical and fun team building activity that includes various water based games and beach challenges.
Instructed by Thailand’s best water sports instructors, teams learn how to play these games and given the techniques to compete and win in the matches that follow.
In this water-fun-filled and fast past team building activity, teams compete against each other in various types of water sports and in multiple rounds, always observed, coached and judged by their water sports and team building instructors.

In this wet, fun-filled and fast paced team building activity, teams compete against each other in various types of water sports and in multiple rounds, always observed, coached and judged by their water sports team building instructors.
Clients may select the types of water sports they wish to include in the team building in advance from the extensive list available or leave the selection in the trusted hands of Making Teams.
Below are two example challenge instructions as provided to the teams during the activity:
Diving for letters
“In this activity teams will assign swimmers, kayakers and conundrum solvers. The swimmers and kayakers will head out one by one into the water to specified points, dive under water and return to shore with a letter. Once all the letters have been gathered the conundrum solvers on the beach will unravel the phrase and draw the letters in the sand to win the game.”
Paddle board slalom race
“The goals of this game is for everyone to zig-zag around the buoys in the sea and come back with the paddle board while standing on it and to finish first of all teams.”

This team building activity normally takes place in the sea and/or on a beach but can also be designed to take place on a lake or river.

The winning team is decided after all games and rounds have completed by adding the points scored by teams during the games.
Insurance and instructor supervision at all times is an important safety factor, and in the event of an emergency of team member withdrawal, transport and medical backup will be standing by.
Pre-briefing with skills training and tips, and debriefing and analysis lead by instructors will form a part of the process, both to enhance the learning outcomes and experiences of the delegates, and to ensure that the team works together is empowered to overcome the challenges it faces.
Starting with a four hour half day option, this program can be expanded to a recommended full day 6-8 hours or even to an up to 12 hour event.
